Guidelines for reviewers:
- You must be an avid Romance reader.
- You must be committed to reviewing at least 1 Romance title per month. Like other reviewers for the site, the books are your payment. The books will be yours to keep. You should not resell the books, they are only meant for review purposes.
- You must submit a short bio with your email submission. Your bio should include your name, location, favorite authors and books, your credits for other reviews.
- Please remember that authors depend on these reviews to be fair, honest, not harsh but practical.
- If you are new to the review business, you will be under a trail period.
- Our reviews are not paid for; we only receive the PDF or print book for reviewing purposes only.
- Please respect author's time, if you as a reviewer are supposed to come back with your review in a certain time, inform RA admin with any delay. Do not ignore any emails.
Review Requests
How to submit your Romance Book Review Request:
- If you are an author and would like to have a current, new, or upcoming e-book release reviewed by RA, please send an email along with:
- A brief description of your book.
- The heat level.
- If your book is published, date of publication.
- Can provide us with ebook, print or both.
- The link to your publisher.
- Number of pages.
- Book Cover. Use this email info(at)suzannahsafi(dot)com
- If no email was sent to you within one week, please do not email us asking if we received your email, or if we are going to review your book.
- If we are willing to review your book, an email will be sent to you to provide us with the book as print or PDF, and to inform you how long it will take from us.
- After the review is done, you will receive an email from us to inform you.
Information for authors/publishers:
- When we receive your request, if we are going to review your book we will ask for the book PDF or print. If we didn't come back to you asking for the book to review, please do not email us asking if we are going to review your book or not.
- RA voluntary review staff are readers, and may write as well. They come from different background; all reviews are pure opinion built on many readings, and in some cases, special expertise.
- You can use the review of your book in any way you want to promote your book, but make sure to mention the name of the reviewer and the link to Romance Alley under your review.
- Our reviewers are humans too, so while every effort is made to get your reviews out there sometimes life simply interferes; the crisis may be occurring with the reviewer, or with the site owner. We appreciate your understanding and patience when such events prevent us from meeting the timelines you have come to expect.
- Book covers are displayed for free, if the author would like their book trailer to be placed beside their review a fee and a limited duration will apply.
For the FTC'S purposes; Romance Alley and our reviewers do not accept paid endorsements, money for positive reviews, etc. All of our reviews are honest opinions of the books we read. Like the majority of book reviewers we buy our books and receive books for free from publishers and authors. Giving us a copy of your book does not, nor has it ever, guaranteed a positive review.

w Betty Ann Harris. "I'd like to introduce myself to you and tell you a bit about me. I'm Betty Ann Harris, a published romance author, copyeditor, and an avid reader. My genre of choice is romantic suspense, but there's not a genre I don't enjoy reading. Known for having my nose in a book or writing, I also like American history, interior design, gardening, and I'm a tea aficionado. I consider myself to be a hopeful romantic and I think love makes the world go around.

I pride myself on giving honest reviews and I always look for the positive in every book review. I graduated Hunter College with my BA in classical music and performance. I have a Masters in Education and one in Reading Disabilities. I have another Masters in Administration and Supervision and I worked in the NYC Public Schools for over 36 years. wAngelWings. Let me introduce myself. I LOVE ROMANCE LOL. In any form, any genre I don't mind reading them all. Although I love LOVE, do your best and impress me with an exciting tale that will rock my world, believe me I need it. I'm firm but honest in my reviews. I was born and raised in New Jersey, yes, I'm a jersey girl. I have two kids, a dog, and a caring husband who gets jealous over my spent time reading romance LOL.
w Su Halfwerk: Is an author, a mother of one son, and married to one guy. She loves to paint when not reading, writing, designing book trailers, or taking care of her castle.
Before Su became a writer, she was an avid reader of horror and romance, in that order. She has been writing for the past nine years, and is heavily into expanding her horizon and learning new writing techniques.
When she reviews, she analyzes the plot, the characters, and their motivation. She believes her analytical skills are the remnants of her study of Information Technology in college.
She remains passionate about the written word.
w Desiree Rogers: I'm a reader and a writer, but not an author…yet. I make the distinction so that I don’t get a big head too soon :) . I was born in Germany and lived there most of my life. As a military brat, I’ve seen a lot of things most adults will never to get to see and I feel that it’s shaped my life. I love books of all kinds, especially interracial romances with heroines that are plus-sized. Also, I find that each book has a different world and different adventures to enjoy. I just finished up my degree in paralegal studies, a career choice that will help me pay the bills while I work on my true path of life, taking over the world :) .

wwww Yummy read. You would buy it and would definitely recommend it to your friends. Yummy characters and wonderful plot. Good writing style, voice, and well edited.

For a story that is unique. You sleep and wake up thinking about the characters, the story, and just say Ahhhh, that story made my day. You would buy every story this author publish.
